  1. GENERAL
    1. The Group shall be known as Siam Surgery PPG with the acronym of SSPPG.
    2. Membership to SSPPG is open to ALL registered as Siam Surgery Patients.
    3. The SSPPG will aim to facilitate a conduit between Siam Surgery Patients, and/or Siam Surgery Patient Carers who may not be registered with Siam Surgery, and available Healthcare Specialists and Facilities.
    4. The SSPPG will focus on needs of the Siam Surgery Patients.
  1. ACCESS
    1. Access to information displayed on the SSPPG Notice Board is available to all Patients and Visitors to Siam Surgery.
    2. Access to the SSPPG Administration is via Info@siamsurgeryppg.org or any other related email address.
    3. Access to the SSPPG Website is via https://www.siamsurgeryppg.org .
    4. Access to all non-sensitive information shall be available to all persons, worldwide via the SSPPG Website whenever it is believed to be appropriate.
  1. ADMINISTRATION
    1. The overall affairs of SSPPG shall be administered by an Executive Committee known as the Core Team.
    2. The Core Team will consist of a maximum of eight and a minimum of four Active Members.
    3. The Core Team Members will be elected or re-elected at the AGM or EGM, or co-opted by Core Team Members at all times.
    4. The general affairs of SSPPG shall be administered by an Extended Committee known as the Administrative Team.
    5. The Administrative Team will consist of the Core Team plus as many others as deemed to be required.
    6. Additional membership to the Administrative Team will be by the majority vote of the current Administrative Team.
    7. Members to the Administrative Team or Extended Committee will step back from the group when their role is completed or by majority vote of the Core Team.
    8. Specifically elected Roles of the SSPPG Core Team are Secretary, Website Coordinator, Events Coordinator and Campaigns Coordinator.
    9. The Secretary will be responsible for correspondence and the general affairs of the Group
    10. The Secretary can delegate some responsibilities to another, or other, Administrative Team member, or members.
    11. The Website Coordinator will be responsible for Managing the Website Domain Name and the overall Structure of the Website.
    12. The Website Coordinator can delegate responsibility for Content Management of specific areas of the Website.
    13. The Events Coordinator will have responsible for overseeing a diary for the dates of Business Meetings, Campaigns, Associated Meetings, or the need to call an AGM or EGM.
    14. The Campaigns Coordinator will have responsible for overseeing Campaigns and Events.
    15. A Chair for all Business Meetings will be selected at the beginning of the meeting.
    16. When a Press Officer is required, this can be the Chair following a Business Meeting or someone appointed by the Chair.
    17. For Campaigns and Publicity Events, a single person will have already agreed to take overall responsibility.
    18. If an Event Press Contact is required, the Responsible Person or someone appointed by the Person Responsible.
    19. As SSPPG has no Treasurer, any Monies allocated for SSPPG Purposes will be administered by a person who will be responsible for Financial Matters.
  1. MEETINGS
    1. Core Team Meetings should be held at least every Two Months.
    2. A Quorum for a Core Team Meeting will be four Core Team Members.
    3. At a meeting, and only if required, the Chair for the meeting can cast an additional vote.
    4. Notice of Meetings must be published on the SSPPG Website at least two-weeks before the meeting.
    5. SSPPG Meeting Agendas must be published on the SSPPG Website at least five-days before the meeting.
    6. Campaign and Publicity Events will be published on the SSPPG Website giving reasonable notice of the event.
  1. CONSTITUTIONAL PROCEDURE
    1. Abuse of SSPPG Members due to bullying, inappropriate language or actions will not be tolerated.
    2. Abuse of SSPPG-related Confidentiality will not be tolerated.
    3. The AGM will be held annually and normally during the month of July or August.
    4. If an AGM cannot take place, the AGM must be called as soon as possible.
    5. If an AGM has been delayed then the current serving Core Team Members will remain in post until the AGM takes place.
    6. A quorum at an AGM must be a minimum of Four SSPPG Administrative Team Members.
    7. When votes are taken at an AGM or EGM, a motion must obtain a simple majority of the eligible SSPPG Members present.
    8. The Core Team Members can be elected, or re-elected, at an EGM or AGM.
    9. Any Core Team depletion can be filled by Co-Opting by a majority vote of at least four existing Administrative Team Members.
    10. Any proposed item for the AGM must be submitted in writing to the Secretary two-weeks before the AGM.
    11. Any changes to the SSPPG Constitution can only be made at an AGM or EGM.
    12. An Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) must be held if the Core Team membership falls below four.
    13. A Core Team Member will need to leave if unavailable for two consecutive meetings without offering a valid acceptable reason to other Core Team Members.
    14. Expulsion of a Core Team Member must be by secret ballot or postal-ballot, of at least 10 eligible SSPPG Members.
    15. The Siam Surgery Medical Practice cannot be held accountable for any decisions or actions taken independently by SSPPG.
  1. WINDING-UP OF SSPPG
    1. If at any time it is not possible to elect at least a minimum Core Team, then an EGM must be called to initiate the winding-up procedure. All the Group's assets shall be used or disposed of as seen fit at the time. It will be the responsibility of the remaining Administrative Team to carry out the winding-up of SSPPG at the EGM.
