The Aim of the Siam Surgery Patient Partnership Group (SSPPG) is to provide a system by which Siam Surgery Patients and/or their Carers, who may not be registered Siam Surgery Patients, are able to access and exchange non-confidential medical-related information between themselves and external medical-related specialist groups and organisations.
The SSPPG will provide a ‘conduit for information’ for the benefit of Siam Surgery Patients with as much relevant information as is possible to be made available.
The SSPPG Core-Team Members are not qualified to give medical advice, but do have access to many Specialist Groups and Specialist Advisers who are qualified and experienced in giving medical or specialist advice.
Although access to some services and some information may ONLY be available following a Referral by a Medical Professional, as much information as is considered to be of general practical interest will be made available whenever possible.
Where a Referral is required to access a Specialist Service, as much information as possible to share will be generally made available.
Aims – More General
When required, the Group aims to provide assistance from suitable volunteers for health-awareness campaigns or vaccination programmes.
The SSPPG will aim to monitor the latest medical-related trends and strive to increase the number of Medical-Related Specialists and Specialist Services available to Patients.
